Dolvik Hage

Curve Studio has been commissioned by Axer Eiendom to design and deliver the landscape architecture for the outdoor spaces at Dolvik Hage, a new residential development in Søreide, Bergen. The project will comprise just over 200 homes and has a clear ambition to create a green, vibrant, and car-free neighbourhood.

The development will offer a diverse mix of modern apartments, terraced houses, and townhouses. Shared meeting places, landscaped green spaces, a community building, and a greenhouse will help foster an active neighbourhood and a strong sense of community.

Dolvik Hage is designed as a car-free residential area, with all parking located in an underground garage accessed from the edge of the site. This allows the internal streets to remain calm and safe, providing generous space for play, social interaction, and pedestrians and cyclists.

Set in scenic surroundings with easy access to both the coastline and nearby woodland, Dolvik Hage will be connected to the waterfront by a new pedestrian path. The gently sloping site offers excellent sun exposure and opportunities for views of the sea.

The vision is to create a contemporary urban village—one where proximity to nature, high-quality shared outdoor spaces, and a diverse range of homes provide the foundation for a safe, attractive, and connected place to live.
