Curve Studio's Vision for Victoria Park Skatepark Becomes a Reality

Construction is officially underway on our highly anticipated street plaza–style skate facility at Victoria Park, marking a significant milestone in the city's ongoing development of wheeled sports infrastructure. We are thrilled to see our design come to life, with the new facility on track to open to the public within the next month.

The Victoria Park project is a central component of Swansea Council’s £3 million investment into wheeled sports. It also serves as a key realization of our comprehensive masterplan for Swansea Skate and Wheeled Sports, through which we are establishing a connected, citywide network of modern facilities.

Our goal has always been to create dynamic, accessible spaces that serve the entire community. By integrating this new facility into our broader masterplan, we are one step closer to ensuring that most Swansea residents live within just two miles of a premium space to ride, skate, and connect.

The new park is specifically tailored to accommodate a wide range of wheeled sports, from skateboarding to BMX, reflecting our ongoing commitment to inclusive, high-quality public design.
