Curve Studio-Designed Victoria Park Skatepark Opens to the Public

Victoria Park's new street plaza-style skate facility is now open to the public, marking a major milestone for wheeled sports in Swansea. Designed by Curve Studio, the facility is one of the first major deliveries from our comprehensive masterplan for Swansea Skate and Wheeled Sports.

The Victoria Park project forms a central part of Swansea Council's £3 million investment into wheeled sports, and its completion represents a key realisation of the citywide vision we've been developing — a connected network of modern, high-quality facilities accessible to riders across the city.

From concept through to execution, Curve Studio has led the design and delivery of Victoria Park, shaping a dynamic and accessible space tailored to a wide range of wheeled sports, from skateboarding to BMX. The result is a facility that reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusive, high-quality public design — built for the whole community, not just experienced riders.

Victoria Park is one piece of a much bigger picture. As our masterplan continues to roll out across Swansea, with further pump tracks, BMX facilities and dirt tracks planned, we're one step closer to our goal: ensuring most Swansea residents live within just two miles of a premium space to ride, skate, and connect.
